Ruby Eudy

Ruby Pauline Eudy, 96, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Mount Pleasant House.

Pauline was born August 23, 1925, in North Carolina to the late George Washington Shoe Sr. and the late Madie Cauble Shoe.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Eudy; daughter, Dianne Shue; brothers, John, Alton, Ray, and Harold Shoe; sister, Margaret Burris; and granddaughter, Tina.

Pauline graduated from Millingport High School in 1942.  She would do anything to help anyone in need.  She was active in the Extension Club of Cabarrus County, and Country Neighbors.  She also worked and volunteered in the Coltrane LIFE Center.  Pauline was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, and Women's Circle.  She also volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels.  Pauline enjoyed country music, dancing, and traveling.  Her favorite place was the beach.  Everyone that knew Pauline loved her and she loved everybody.  Her greatest joy in life was her large family.

Survivors include daughter, Brinda (Chris) Paone of Charlotte; son, Ricky (Tammy) Eudy of Mt Pleasant; brother, George (Shelby) Shoe, Jr. of Mt Pleasant; sister, Dorothy (Carvin) Parson of Oakboro; sister, Faye (Odell) Lambert of Mt Pleasant; sister, Linda Almond of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Lisa, Eric, Melissa, Stephanie, Anthony, Cynthia, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Landon, Brittany, Rhiannon, James, Alyza, Hunter, Samantha, William, Riley, Nevaeh, Katlin, and Evan; great-great grandson, Levi; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 1260 N College St, Mt. Pleasant.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
