Ruby Phillips

Ruby Katherine Phillips, 88 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord.
Ruby was born July 28, 1928 in Union County, NC to the late James John Myers and the late Delphia Griffin Myers.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dewell Phillips in 2002; three sisters and three brothers; as well as a granddaughter, Beth LeAnn Phillips.
Survivors include son, Billy M. (Brenda) Phillips of Mount Pleasant, NC; son, Charles F. (Wanda) Phillips of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Brian J. (Cynthia) Phillips, Andrea P. (Joe) Trull and Scott L. (Tonya) Phillips; six great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Buck Canup. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
