Ruby was a homemaker, a master seamstress and a gardener. She could sew anything she saw without a pattern and she did. She raised awesome gardens and canned the families food for many years. She also raised a multitude of beautiful flowers but was partial to the Rose and Iris. Ruby also owned and operated Westover Mobile home Park, which was built by her husband.
The Yow family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord. Ruby took up residence there in 2012 and remained until her death. She was loved by the staff and Ruby loved them. Ruby adopted Rochelle, one of her care takers, and made her an honorary sister to the family.
The family will be receiving friends at 3022 Eva Drive, Concord, NC 28027 and all others times at their own individual homes.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Yow family.
