Ruth Davis

Ruth Vesta Beam Davis, 81, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2012 at Five Oaks Manor. A visitation will be held at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, WV on Friday, January 18th from 11 until 1pm. Graveside services will follow at 1 pm. Ruth was born on July 09, 1931, in Charleston, WV to the late Elbert Beam and the late Vaughnie Barnes Beam. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Luther Davis, and daughter Edwana Graley. She is survived by: daughters, Rebecca Hatfield of Cheesapeake, OH, Janet C. Johnson and husband Allen of Scott Depot, WV, Jeanette Zerkle and husband Ronald of Point Pleasant, WV, Lois Canterbury Pauley and husband Ronald of New Haven, WV, and Kathy Edwards and husband Pat of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Tabitha Reynolds, Riley Hatfield, Scott Watts, Bryan Watts, Richard Graley, Jr., Stacy Davidson, and Christopher Edwards; eight great-grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home PO Box 367 Concord, NC 28026 to be applied toward the Ruth Davis funeral account.
