Ruth Hartsell

Ruth Ann Morrison Hartsell, age 81, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Main in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. At other times the family will meet at her home. The funeral service will be Friday, December 30, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Clontz officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hartsell was born on April 6, 1930 to the late Fred Smith Morrison and the late Annie Belle Black Morrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joe Ellis Hartsell in 1998 and grandson Daniel Eugene Hampton. She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Clontz of Midland, Jan Burris of Midland; grandchildren, Michael Shane Starnes, Joe Stanley Hartsell of Stanfield, Ashley Ann Raber of Midland; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Wellon Morrison of Midland.
