Ruth Honeycutt

Ruth Elaine Hathcock Honeycutt, 95, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville.

Elaine was born September 13, 1924 in Stanly Co. to the late James Clifton Hathcock and the late Lillie Cropsey Howell  Hathcock.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Honeycutt; brothers; Vance, Newell, and Wayne Hathcock, all of Oakboro, North Carolina; and sister; Margaret Greene of Stanfield, North Carolina.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Elaine, along with her beloved husband Robert, owned and operated Honeycutt Shoe Shop in downtown Albemarle and Honeycutt Shoes in the Quenby Mall for many, many years.  One of her favorite pastimes was going antiquing..searching for that perfect treasure.  She will surely be missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Steve Honeycutt of Albemarle, North Carolina; and nine nieces.
