Ruth Mcdaniel

Ruth Burleson McDaniel, age 87 of Albemarle passed away on January 20, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday, January 23 at Centerview Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Todd Galloway and Rev. Joe Smith. A private graveside will be conducted in the church cemetery. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Stanly County on June 04, 1923 to the late Hobart and Minnie Burleson. She was preceded in death by her husband Tex McDaniel. Mrs. Ruth McDaniel was survived by her son Eddy McDaniel and wife Linda Smith McDaniel of Albemarle; her sister, Evelyn Thompson of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Eddy McDaniel II, wife Julie, and their children Tyler and Hailey, Jennifer McDaniel Myers, husband Daniel, and their children Cody, Nathaniel, and Jackson. Memorials may be made to Centerview Baptist Church Building Fund, 508 Northeast Connector, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the McDaniel family.
