Ruth Mcquain

Ruth Ann Rucker McQuain, 77, of Concord, NC was promoted into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. She made friends everywhere she went and was there for anyone who needed a helping hand. She loved to bake and share her confections with her friends. She is survived by: daughter, Kimberly McQuain of Concord, NC; son, Dennis Lee McQuain and wife Esther of St. Albans, WV; grandson, Joshua McQuain and wife Lacy of Lake Wylie, SC; sisters, Jayne Jennings of Clendenin, WV, Kay Kennedy and husband Dave of New Freedom, PA; brother-in-law, Jim Clendenin of Clendenin, WV; step-children, John McQuain, Jr. and wife Ann of Nitro, WV, Greg McQuain of Elkview, WV, Ruann Smith and husband Alan of South Charleston, WV; step-grandsons, Josef McQuain and Jeremy Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be no formal services. Her request was that everyone gather, talk, laugh, have good times and remember her well. Memorials may be made to your local hospice house.
