Ruth Penley

Ruth Penley, 88, of Stanfield and formally of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at home. The family will have a celebration of life on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the home of Ruth’s daughter, Linda Lambert. Ruth was born on July 25, 1923, to the late Joseph Ewell King and the late Edith Barnett King. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother, Joe King and two grandchildren, Brad Lambert and Janet Rose. She is survived by a son, Joseph Penley; two daughters, Linda Lambert and her husband, Don and Kay Yow and her husband Bobby; grandchildren, Dawn, Beth, Chris, Susan and Paul; 10 great-grandchildren.
