Ruth Snyder

Mrs. Ruth Lee (Mitchell) Snyder age 95 of 4580 Flowe Store Road Concord, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis. Born on March 22, 1914 in Jackson County, NC to the late William Hardy Mitchell and the late Carrie Hester (King) Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Roy Braxton Snyder, and also a son, Reece Snyder. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, and was very active in all phases of her church. The family meeting place will be at the home of a granddaughter Sharee Carter at 4971 Flowe Store Road Concord.. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home-Concord on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 6 PM until 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11 AM, with the Rev. Ray Rivenbark officiating. Survived by: daughters, Carra Hartsell; and Sarah Lowder; and son, John Snyder all of Concord, NC; six grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren..
