Ruth Starnes

Ruth Lee Starnes, 67, of Durham, NC, passed away July 1, 2013. Ruth was born February 28, 1946 in Albemarle to the late Leroy Baxter Starnes and Annie Marie Burris Starnes. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Reba Starnes. The family will receive friends at the home of Bobby Starnes at 12113 NC Hwy. 138, Norwood, NC 28128, on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 6 pm until 8pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Norwood Cemetery with the Rev. Preston Young officiating. Survivors include a brother, Bobby Starnes and wife,Joyce,of Aquadale and a sister, Alice Austin of Albemarle.
