Biography Ruth Treece Vanhoy, 94 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Ms. Vanhoy was born July 20, 1922 to the late Wade Clifton and Delphia Rogers Treece. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie M. Vanhoy and two brothers, Clifton and Wilbert Treece. . Ruth is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Mountain Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, New London with Elder Branan Hoover officiating.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the loving care expressed by the staff and fellow residents of Stanly Manor.
