Ryan Weatherly

Ryan Blake Weatherly, 25, of Concord, passed away on February 7, 2021 in Concord, NC.  He was born on January 16, 1996, to Robert and Bobbie Billings Weatherly in Matthews, NC.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Bobbie Billings Weatherly of Concord, brother, Dylan Weatherly and fiancé, Brittany Christy, nephew, Kol and niece, Ella, all of Kannapolis.  He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Richard “Wayne” Billings and Sandra Billings of Concord, and paternal grandfather, Robert “Bob” Weatherly, Sr. of Concord.  His aunt, Lynnette Billings Keller and fiancé, Darin Warren, of Denver, NC, and aunts, Sandra Brindle and Audrey Bazile of Concord also survive him.  He is survived by great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins in NC and across the US.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Weatherly, Jr., and paternal grandmother, Barbara Hanson Weatherly.

Ryan loved his family and his friends and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it.  His smile and laugh were contagious.  His energy was unmatched, and his love of life was amazing.  He would do anything for his mother, his family and his friends.  He graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 2014 and attended school in Gillette, Wyoming, prior to that.  He was smart beyond belief and loved a good debate.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 12, at 1:00 pm at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church located at 59 Green Street SW in Concord, NC.  Pastor Dr. Rodney Quesenberry will officiate the service.
