Sadie Ruth Love, 70 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at her residence in Oakboro.
Sadie was born July 8, 1946 in Stanly County to the late James Thomas Love and the late Sadie Wilma Yow Love. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Chloe Osborne; sister, Phyllis Greene; and brothers, Rayford, Bobby, Herman, and Tommy Love.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Silver Road Baptist Church, 15741 Silver Road, Oakboro. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Gene Hopkins will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, Melindie Jane (Scott) Osborne of Oakboro, and Patricia (JD) Eaton of Jackson, Missouri; sons, Michael (Melissa) Osborne of Oakboro, and Junior Osborne of Midland; brothers, Carl (Marlene) Love, and Dale (Tamara) Love; sisters, Kay (Tim) McDonald, Janie (David) Deese, Marie (Rick) Barbee, and Cindy Love; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special friends, Amy Stegall, and Carol Meadors; and several nephews and nieces.
Sadie loved her animals, coloring and her many whatnots. She will always be remembered for her laughter.
