Sally Cooper

Sally Victoria Cooper, 90 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Woodhaven Court .

Ms. Cooper was born June 21, 1925 in North Carolina to the late Jacob Alexander Cooper and the late Ella Carpenter Cooper. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kay Rogers, a son, Johnny Alexander Hathcock, four sisters Ann Mullis, Gladys Waisner, Mary Frick, and Jenner Kimrey, and four brothers Jay, Carl, Ray and Charlie Cooper.

Ms. Cooper was retired from Wiscassett Mills with 35 years of service and was also a caregiver. She was devoted and dedicated to Christian Ministries.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Harward's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at Winfield Road, Norwood officiated by Rev Mike Lisk.

Survivors include, daughter, Janet Whitley and husband Dan of Norwood, nine grandchildren Cindy Mauldin and husband Randy, Randy Whitley and wife Sandy, Tanya Greene and husband Brian, Scott Rogers and wife Donna, Glenn Rogers and wife Mika, Carla Tucker and husband David, Amy Hathcock, Travis Hathcock, Justin Hathcock and wife Beth, twenty two great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren.
