Sanaajai Forte

Sanaajai Aubrielle Forte, infant daughter of Lasanae Forte, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

Sanaajai was born April 6, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her great grandfather and great grandmother, Horton Forte and Verna Forte; as well as her aunt Ykita Forte.

In addition to her loving mother, Lasanae Forte, Sanaajai leaves behind her grandparents, Renee Forte and Afi Osakwe of Concord; two loving uncles, Ajenee Forte and Daisean Forte, of Concord; special aunt, Sandra Forte, of Concord; as well as numerous loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and Godmother Leiloni Mulligan.

Lovingly called “Pink” by her mother and grandmother, Sanaajai's imprint on everyone in her short earthly life cannot be overstated. She was deeply loved by everyone. As each week passed, she continued to grow and let everyone within hearing range hear the power of her voice, “Pay attention to me, what's wrong with you?” Her eyes were mysterious. As mysterious as God's plan for all of us. For God is the Best of Planners and his plan for Sanaajai was a lesson for us all. And we take comfort in our faith that God makes no mistakes. She left us Joy. And although we grieve, we are aware that she is yet with us. To God be the Glory.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later time.
