Sandra Barbee

Sandra Talley Barbee, of 4578 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009, 8:30 a.m., at her home. She was born October 23, 1946, to Charlie Talley and the late Margie Talley. Their two sons, Stephen and Christopher, also preceded her in death. Survivors, including her father, are her husband, Dwight Barbee of the home; a brother, Thomas Wilson Talley and wife, Cynthia Carriker Talley; two nieces, Tara Talley Tarlton and Tiffany Talley; great nieces and nephews. Sandra fought her battle with cancer for nine months. She never complained about the treatment and said every day was a great day. Her family and friends will always remember the laughter she created. The family will receive friends Monday night, Nov. 30, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2:00, at First Baptist Church of Locust, with Dr. Kinney Wallace officiating. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, is serving the Barbee family.
