Sandra Efird

Sandra Tucker Coley Efird, 76, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Sandra was born May 27, 1944 in Stanly County to the late Ted Tucker and Mary Adaline Hopkins Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Lane Coley; brothers, Billy Joe Tucker, Tony Tucker; and sister, Peggy Kimrey.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Norwood. The funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Lowell Brown. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. She will lie in state on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Larry Gene Efird; daughter, Angela (Ron) Denton; son, Bryan (Denika) Coley; step-children, Lisa (Chip Frasure) Efird and Sandra (Glenn) Crowley; three grandchildren, Hunter and Hayley Coley, and Olivia Denton; two additional step-children; and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
