Sarah Mcmanus

Sarah Elizabeth McManus, 33 years of age, of Moyock, NC passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Sarah was born April 2, 1980 in Greenville, SC to Glenna Jane Almond Taylor . She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Reather "Coot" and Ollie Belle Almond, and Mae Belle Taylor. The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 3 pm on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Aaron Brooks. The burial will be at Smith's Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakboro. She is survived by her parents, Glenna and Harold Taylor of Oakboro; her son, William Taylor McManus of Moyock; brother, Wayland Capps and wife Cindy of Locust; three step-brothers, Terry Taylor and wife Linda of Albemarle, Johnny Taylor and wife Jeanie of New London, and Tony Taylor of Richfield; special niece and nephew, Emily and Dustin Capps; and special friend, Tracy Burris Raybon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sarah was a wonderful and loving mother, daughter, and sister. She loved children and her cat and dog. Sarah enjoyed spending time at the lake, fishing, and gardening.
