Sarah Paige

Sarah Starnes Paige, 85, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Mrs.Paige was born January 8, 1933 to the late Gene Matthew and Minnie Barbee Starnes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Paige and son-in-law, Michael Coble; sister, Joyce Carpenter.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 24671 Millingport Road., Locust.

Sarah is survived by: son, Tim Paige of Locust; daughters, Jewel McNeill of Mt Pleasant and Tammie Coble of Albemarle; grandchildren, Shane Coble, Kyle Coble, Telisha McNeill, Brad McNeill; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Starnes and Lester Starnes.
