Scott Schultz

Scott Jeffrey Schultz, 42, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Atrium Health Pineville.

Mr. Schultz was born July 5, 1979 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Jeffrey Schultz and the late Deborah Jean Brand Schultz. He spent his early years in Wisconsin before moving to Charlotte in 1983. He graduated in 1997 from South Mecklenburg High School, where he played basketball.

Scott is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his father, Jeffrey Schultz (Ann Eyrich) of Mogadore, OH, his sister, Stephanie Talbot of Harrisburg, NC, his niece and nephew, Madison and Trevor Talbot, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and friends who felt like family.

During his life, Scott was an avid sports fan of all sorts, particularly the Carolina Panthers. He loved to cook and grill for family and friends. He loved his kitchen garden and grew spectacular peppers and tomatoes. He enjoyed fine dining and trying new foods and restaurants, especially in the company of friends and family.

A private celebration of life service is being planned.
