Seaborn Jenkins

The Lord called Troy S. Jenkins, 85, home on December 27, 2021, shortly after the passing of his beloved wife, Joyce Jenkins on December 11, 2021. They were married for 66 years. They were so close, the tag on their car read Troyce.

Troy was born in Marshville, NC on March 31, 1936. He worked many years in newspaper printing at The Charlotte Observer. After retirement, Troy and Joyce moved to Myrtle Beach, SC; known as their happy place. They returned back to NC a few years ago to be close to the family.

Troy was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; brothers, Henry Jenkins, Ray Jenkins and Graham Jenkins; sisters, Alice Purser and Jane Helms.

He is survived by his children, Stan Jenkins (Dotti), Vickie Massey (Eddie) and Rick Jenkins (Jana); five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Earl Jenkins (Vivian) and Nelson Jenkins (Patty); sisters, Bert Haigler, Pat Haigler (Floyd), Diane Glassberg (Bill) and Cathy Faile (Buster).

A private family service will be held at a later date.
