Shaniqua Williams

Shaniqua Shontae Williams, 20, of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Her final resting place will be in Greenville, Mississippi. At other times the family will meet at the family home. Miss Williams was born on November 27, 1991, to Shonda Levette Taylor and Marvin Williams. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She graduated from Independence High, was employed by Target and attended CPCC. Shaniqua loved to read, was interested in dirt bikes and snow boarding, liked to travel, loved Hello Kitty and anime. She was very protective of her brother and was a very caring person who loved her family and friends dearly. Along with her mother, Shaniqua is survived by her little brother, Justin Taylor of Charlotte and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ezekiel and Ruthie Taylor; an aunt, Delores Collum; and a cousin, Heather Collum.
