Sharon Anderson

Sharon "Shari" Elaine Huneycutt Anderson, 66, of Indian Trail, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews.

Shari was born December 15, 1950 in Albemarle to the late Bobby Spencer Huneycutt and the late Sara Louise Whitley Norris. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Barry Allen Norris.

The graveside service will be at 1 pm on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Dr. Wayne Bennett.

She is survived by her brothers, Craig Huneycutt and wife Julia Mueller of Mooresville, Tony Stephen Huneycutt of Tampa, FL; aunts, Margaret Hatley, Dee Lindstrom and husband Herb; uncle, John Whitley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; best friend, Dottie Schnibben; and former husband and close friend, Tom Anderson.

Shari was a caring and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. After she retired from real estate management in Texas, she moved back home to take care of her beloved mother and stepfather until their passing. She was also an avid dog lover. Her dogs were her children. Shari was a world traveler and had many interests. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
