Sharon Hatley

Sharon Leigh Bittner Hatley, 53 years of age, of Midland, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at her daughter's home in Midland.

Sharon was born July 16, 1961 in Delaware to Lawrence, Sr. and Phyllis Pratt Bittner of Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Nelson Gene Hatley, in 2013.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Oakboro officiated by Rev. Scott Jenkins and Dr. Wayne Bennett. There will be a 30 minute state prior to the funeral service.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Christina (Bradley) Olsen of Midland; two sons, Colin Hatley of Midland and Jeffrey (Erin) Gardiner of Albemarle; grandson, Jeffrey Gardiner, Jr.; granddaughters, Amiaya Deese and Marley Olsen; and brother, Lawrence Bittner, Jr. of Weddington.
