Shelby Harwood

Shelby W. Harwood, age 71 of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Stanly Manor, after battling Alzheimer’s disease for many years. A private service will be held at North Myrtle Beach, SC, at a later date. Mrs. Harwood is survived by her husband, Bobby K. Harwood of North Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Dawn H. Allen and her husband Raymond of Albemarle, Shawn H. Hartsell and her husband Mason of Midland; four beloved grandchildren, Brent H. Allen, Andrew C. Allen, Ali M. Hartsell and Mia L. Hartsell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GHA Autism Supports, PO Box 2487, Albemarle, NC 28002 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 1305 Navajo Drive, Ste. 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
