Shelley Renea Easley McManus

Shelley Renea McManus, 54, of Midland, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

Shelley was born November 9, 1969 in North Carolina to the late Lloyd Eugene Easley and the late Linda Sue Morrison. 

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She was a woman of exceptional beauty, wit, and charm, whose radiant spirit and Pocahontas-like locks became her signature. Her laughter was infectious, her presence a comfort to all who knew her.

Her family was her world, and her love for them was boundless. Though she left us far too soon, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.

She is leaving behind her devoted husband, Anthony, who cherished her for 39 loving years; her oldest son, Devin and his wife Jessica; her grandchildren Liam and Raelyn; and her youngest son, Daniel and his wife Candice. 

Her legacy is one of unconditional love and selfless service. Whether sneaking an extra apple into a child's lunch at Cabarrus County Schools or tenderly caring for the elderly in local nursing homes, she was an angel in disguise, always placing others before herself.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no public services. The family kindly requests privacy as they navigate this time of remembrance. Let us all honor her memory by living with the same generosity and love she exemplified.
