Sherri Russell

Sherri Ann Small Russell, age 49 of Mt. Gilead, passed away on April 25, 2012, at her home, with her loving family by her side. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Saturday, April 28 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Gold Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 29 at 4:00 PM, with a 30 minute state, officiated by Rev. Anthony Moore. Burial will follow in the Gold Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born in Stanly County, on January 14, 1963, to Thomas “Tom” Moyle Small and the late Mary Elizabeth Biles Small. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael “Mike” Alan Russell of the home; one son, John Russell of Mt. Gilead; and a brother, Eddie Small of Gold Hill.
