Sherry Brown

Sherry Hathcock Brown, 57, of New London, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Brown was born November 18, 1962 in Stanly County to the late Larry Aldine Hathcock and the late Gwendolyn Joyce Hathcock. She was also preceded in death by brother, Chuck Hathcock; father-in-law, Alfred Brown; and mother-in-law, Essie Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Steve Jackson.

Survivors include husband, Tom Brown of New London; son, Anthony Brown; daughters, Nekita Brown and Brandy Brown; brother, Rick (Tammy) Hathcock; grandchildren, Kenny (Destiny) Poplin, Christian Poplin, Isaiah Medley, Roger Brown, Kiera Brown, and Serenity Brown; great-grandchildren, RaeLynn Poplin and Hudson Poplin; sisters-in-law, Ethel (Orlando) Washington and Betty Brown; aunts, Zannie Wilson and Elizabeth; numerous nieces and nephews; bestie friend, Jena Lowder Watts; and family friend, Depp Medley.
