Shirley Barringer

Shirley Lillian Brown Barringer, 78 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville.

Shirley was born June 8, 1936 in Rowan County to the late Charles Ivey Brown and the late Lena Mae Danner Brown.

There are no services scheduled, per Shirley's request. Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 46963 Wesley Chapel Rd., Misenheimer, NC 28109.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charlie Calvin Barringer of Richfield; daughter, Andrea (Rocky) Drye of Albemarle; sons, Woody Barringer, Marty (Robin) Barringer and Ty (Cherri) Barringer, all of Richfield; grandchildren, Heather Drye, Rachel Barringer, Christine Barringer, Garrett Barringer, Daniel Barringer, Ross Hopkins, Shelly Hatley, and Andi Craig; and three great grandchildren.
