Shirley Blalock

Shirley Faye Broome Blalock ,75, of 90 Brown Street Concord passed away on August 17, 2010 at her home. Born on June 1, 1935 in Cabarrus County to the late Efird and Della Foster Broome. Shirley retired from Wiscassett Mills with 45 years of service. She was of the baptist faith. The family meeting place will be at the home of son Roger Lambert at 3305 Eva Drive Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord Chapel on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2 PM, with Rev. Tim Yates officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. Survived by sons, Lynn Lambert and wife Vanessa of Albemarle, Roger Lambert and wife Janet of Concord; daughter, Teresa Wade and husband Jeff of Concord; brother, Claude Broome of Concord; sister, Frances Burris of Concord; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
