Shirley Day

Shirley Guinn Day, 76 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.

Shirley was born May 6, 1940 in Miami County, Indiana, to the late Chester Guinn and the late Violet Lois Durham Latta.

At her death she was survived by her husband, James Edward Day, who died on September 2, 2016. Survivors include her three daughters, Shelly Masters (Jeff) of Norwood, Roxann Phillipy of Richfield, and Tonya Ewing of Mexico, IN; two sons, James E. (Patricia) Day, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, and Leonard Day of La Grange, KY; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Latta of Mexico, IN; two sisters, Vickie Latta Bankston and Kitty Latta Jeffers, both of Peru, IN.
