Shirley Eudy

Shirley Armstrong Eudy, 71, of Mission Church Road, Locust, passed away April 17, 2010, at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Eudy was born October 7, 1938, in Mecklenburg County. She was preceded in death by her father, Dowd Armstrong, and mother, Eva Jenkins Armstrong, as well as two brothers and one sister. Shirley was a member of Community Baptist Church of Locust, NC, and was active in the church as long as her health permitted. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 – 8:00, Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral will be Monday, 2:00, Community Baptist Church, with a 30 minute state, officiated by Rev. Ed Grover and Rev. Richard Collins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Todd Stutts, 9749 Mission Church Road, Locust, NC. Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Eudy; daughter, Sherri S. Stutts and husband, Todd, of Locust; grandchildren, Jonathan, Ethan, and Macy Stutts; niece, Linda Sigmon and husband, Thomas of Denver, NC, and niece, Susan Acker and husband, Chris of Fort Mill, SC; and several other nieces and nephews.
