Shirley Fields

Shirley Louise Fields, 73 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Carolina Continued Care in Pineville.
Shirley was born October 5, 1942 in North Carolina to Alonzo Franklin Love and the late step-mother, Mary Ann Dunaway Love. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Lapish, and her sister, Brenda Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside service will be at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Hwy 73, Concord, Friday at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. A.W. Sutton.
Survivors include daughters, Angela (Timmie) Rushing and Connie (Robert) Shaw all of Concord, husband, Gorrie "Pete" Fields of Concord, grandchildren, Amber, Michelle, April, Dennis, Bobby and five great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden, spending time with her family, and especially time in the swing on her front porch with her little dog.
