Shirley Wallace Jordan of Locust, NC, our Granny, passed away
at age 86 on Friday, 1/21/2022.

Shirley was the daughter of the late Isabelle and Rob Wallace. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Jordan,
a son, Buck Morgan, a grandson, Conrad Morgan and a sister, Martha Lee.

Survivors include a sister Judy Hood, a brother Robert (Donna) Wallace,
daughter Kathey (Gerald) Phillips, son Billy Morgan, granddaughter
Carrie Brown (Chance Williams) and Amy (Charles) Felix, grandsons
Clay Morgan (Tracey Blanchard) and Drew (Bethany) Morgan and great
grandchildren, Rose Brown, Sam Williams, Luke Morgan and Colby Felix,
a special niece Drucie Eudy and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Shirley was employed by Lance, Inc. as a Finance Manager, was an excellent
seamstress, enjoyed knitting and crocheting, was a marvelous cook welcoming
her children and grandchildren to dinners, holidays and birthdays but her passion
was caring, feeding and tending to the babies.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let
us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25

from 12 to 2 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland, NC.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
