Shirley Elizabeth McGraw, 77, passed away early Sunday morning, July 3, 2016, at home from Pancreatic cancer.
Ms. Mcgraw was born Dec. 28, 1938 in Concord, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Theodore Kimsey King and the late Elsie Drye King. Shirley retired from the Showgren Hosiery Mill.
She loved the Lord, gospel music, country music, her six cats and her birds. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by a sister; Mary Ann King and a brother, Joe Dulin.
She is survived by five daughters and two sons; Linda (Kenny) McGraw, Bobby McGraw, David (Erin) McGraw, Nancy M. Sartain, Becky M. (Larry) Furr, all of Concord, Patricia M. (Brian) Bridges and Joyce M. (Gary) Jones of Dayton, Tenn. and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Newton officiating. Burial immediately following at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Hwy 73, Concord.
