Shirley Miller

Shirley Bee Knopf Miller, 98, of Harrisburg, NC passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Harrisburg.

Mrs. Miller was born December 30, 1921 in Rochester, NY to the late Walter Abraham Knopf and the late Rose Knopf. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Irving Miller, DDS; grandson, John A. White, III; as well as her brother, James and sister, Jessie.

Survivors include daughter, Margery White and husband John, of Concord, NC; daughter, Emi Miller of Matthews, NC; granddaughters, Bridget Hines and husband Earl of Durham, NC; Kara Schafer and husband Chris of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Eva Edleson and husband Max of Eugene, OR; great grandchildren, Chase Hines, Tanner and Owen Schafer, Ayla and Zoe Edleson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 18th at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
