Shirley Virginia Sloop Taylor, 64, of 10550 Christywoods Lane Mt. Pleasant, NC passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at her home. Born on July 07, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late Edward Eugene and Hetta Valeda Semone Sloop. She was also preceded in death by her husband Marion Lee Taylor, Sr., a son Michael Wayne Taylor and a sister Cathy Elain DeJaeger. The family will be meeting at the home of son Lee Taylor, Jr. at 645 Union Street South Concord Apt.#9. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6 until 8PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:30 AM, with the Pastor Vic Dobner officiating and burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at 12 Noon. Survived by: son, Marion Lee Taylor, Jr. of Concord; daughter, Buffie Diane Taylor and husband Paul Thomas Lundy of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Gloria Jean Burgess of Mt.
