Shirley Wainwright

Shirley Maulden Wainwright, age 71, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at CMC- Main, Charlotte. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The graveside service, officiated by Rev. Kyle Waddell, will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 315 Greenwich Rd. Savannah, GA on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 2:00pm. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Mrs. Wainwright was born on December 23, 1941, to the late Daniel Walter Maulden, Sr. and the late Anna Sheppard Mauldin. She is survived by her loving husband; Thomas Edison Wainwright, Sr. of Albemarle; three sons, Thomas Edison Wainwright, Jr. and wife Sonja of Denton, Barry Jay Wainwright, Sr. and wife Tracey of Concord, and Hugh Wainwright and wife Debbie of Albemarle; two daughter, Angela Dick and husband Doug, and Sherry Fesperman of Albemarle; a brother, Daniel Walter Maulden, Jr. of Savannah, GA; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was a lifetime member of DAV Post 660 in Savannah, GA and also a lifetime member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Albemarle. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Wainwright family.
