Solomon Dion Moses

Solomon Dion Moses, lovingly known as Dion, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 50. Born on February 23, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York, Dion was the youngest child of Clara and Solomon Moses. As a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, Dion’s life was marked by kindness, loyalty, and a sense of humor that could light up any room.

Dion leaves behind his cherished daughter, Janera Banks of Brooklyn, NY and his treasured granddaughters, Aubrey and Ava Banks. He was a devoted brother to Dwayne (Elsie) Moses of Paramus, NJ, Keith Moses of Brooklyn, NY, and Audra Moses of Concord, NC. Dion is also deeply mourned by his three nieces, two nephews, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who considered him family.

Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Dion had a special gift for bringing laughter to others. His stories and jokes could brighten even the darkest days, and his lightheartedness created unforgettable memories for those around him. Beyond his humor, Dion was known for his generosity and the warmth he brought into every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on the lives he touched. Dion will be remembered by his family and friends for his immense heart, his spirit of giving, and his unwavering loyalty. He lived with passion, embraced life fully, and made everyone he encountered feel valued and supported.

The family will hold a viewing on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:45 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland, NC. A memorial service will follow at 2:00. Dion’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.
