Stephen Gilstrap

Stephen Wayne Gilstrap, age 68, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at his home. A funeral service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 30, at 11a.m. with a 30 minute state, officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the burial. Mr. Gilstrap was born in Washington County, Indiana on July 28, 1943, to the late Leland Harold Gilstrap and the late Roberta Shirley Colglazier Gilstrap. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Gilstrap. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Paulette Hatley Gilstrap, of the home; daughter, Lisa Bozeman of Salem, IN; son, Mark Gilstrap and wife Stephanie of Salem, IN; step daughter, Angie Peterson and husband Matt of Salisbury; brother, David Gilstrap and wife Judy of IN; sister-in-law, Sharon Gilstrap of New Albany, IN; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
