Stephen Nance

Stephen Nance, age 63, of Concord, NC passed away on April 10, 2013 at home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 4 PM, with Rev. Burt Williams officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Steve was born on January 5, 1950 to the late John Van Nance and the late Meathel Ellen Fowler Nance. He is survived by his brother, Michael Nance and wife Kim of Concord; and his nephew and niece, Andrew and Emily Nance, whom he adored. Steve will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, kindness and giving heart. He was a loving brother and uncle. Memorials may be made to Opportunity House, 2216 Kannapolis Hwy., Concord, NC 28027.
