Steven Hand, Jr.

Steven S. Hand, Jr. 50, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Steven was born September 28, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Steven S. Hand Sr. late Cynthia Marie Hand. Steven is also preceded in death by his sister Shantell Hand.

Steven was educated in Brooklyn, New York, he later relocated to Concord, North Carolina and worked at Lowe's for 28 years in the Mill work Department. Steven was a wonderful outspoken loving man. He was a great father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all he met.

Steven leaves behind wife Briana D. Hand, son, Jamarcus J. Hand, daughter, Rhianna R. Hand. He also leaves behind 7 sisters; Yolanda Hawkins, Keshia Byrd (Ronald), Tammie Wright, Shameen Wright, Stelina Wright, and Stephanie Hand, Five brothers; Rashiem Hand (Tiffany), Reginald Wright (Latisha), Stephan Wright, Zaire Hand, and Elijah Hand, 38 nieces and 23 great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2pm - 2:45pm, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3pm in the Miller J. Hartsell Memorial Chapel. All other times the family will be meeting at the home of Briana, and Wanda Clowney, at 1215 Forest Park Dr., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
