Sue Cascio

Sue Carol Crayton Cascio, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, went to be with her heavenly father Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home. Ms. Cascio was born September 1, 1940 in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude David Crayton; mother, Jonnie Ramyrl Hathcock Crayton; brothers, Larry Dean Crayton and Harold David Crayton. She was a certified nursing assistant and loved everyone she met. She loved taking care of people. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, August 1, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m., Tuesday, at Mission Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Ronny Russell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her sons, Richard Allen Cascio and David Vincent Cascio; granddaughter, Kayla Cascio, whom she absolutely adored; sister, Dottie Rae Eudy and husband, Chuck; special companion for over 20 years, Richard Beasley; special sister-in-law, Sharon Cascio, who helped care for her; and her black lab companion, Katie. Mrs. Cascio also loved Angela Cascio, who took such special care of her. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the Cascio family.
