Susan Linda Clay, 74, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.

Susan was born February 21, 1950, in Massachusetts to the late Wayne B. Gates and the late Lillian Gates. She was also preceded in death by husband, William Arthur Clay.

A memorial service will be held by her family at a later date.

Survivors include son, Ronald Blanchard of New London, NC, and daughter, Rose Blanchard of New London, NC.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Clay family.
