Susan Rushing

Susan Marie Fikkan Rushing, 72 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home in Albemarle.

Susan was born August 7, 1943 in Idaho to the late Earl Thomas Fikkan and the late Helen Jane Sandusky Fikkan.

The graveside service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at Norview Gardens in Norwood, officiated by Rev. Jim Yow.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bobby Ray Rushing, Sr. of Albemarle; sister, Linda (Steven) Blalock of Albemarle; brother, Robert (Vickie) Fikkan of Yakima, WA; son, Bobby (Crystal) Rushing of Troy; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
