Susan Staniforth

Susan Ann Wyville Staniforth, 58, of Midland, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Staniforth was born December 19, 1952, in the land of Robin Hood, Nottinghamshire, England. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Perion Wyville, and her mother, Edna Blant Wyville. Susan and her husband, Stephen, had lived in Midland, NC for the past seven years. She was a registered nurse at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Susan had a warm and caring heart, especially for the stray animals, which she was always taking in and caring for, the largest of which was her husband, Stephen. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Midland. Susan leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Stephen; her five current little kittie children, Rusty, Greyboy, Baby, Sugar, and Sassy; along with her brother, Kevin Wyville and wife, Audrey, her adopted mom Janet Whetton, all of England; along with a niece, Donna, and three nephews, Craig, Jason, and Phillip Wyville.
