Susanne Foster

Susanne Luther Foster, age 61 of 702 Concord Road passed away on December 31, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Ceneter in Albemarle. A member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Albemarle, she was also a waitress. Born in York County, SC on March 26, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Wesley Luther and the late Ada Louise Norris Luther. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wingate McPherson, Sr. son, Donnie Ray McPherson in 1998; grandson, Triston and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy McPherson Tysinger and husband Tim of Lexington; son Carl Wingate “Jr.” McPherson, Jr. and wife Ludie Ann of Albemarle; former husband Johnny Eugene Foster of Gold Hill; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2 at Hartsell Funeral home of Albemarle from 6 to 8. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 3 at 2 pm at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Albemarle with a 30 minute state. Pastor Kevin Munson will officiate.
