Sylvia Dry

Sylvia Ann Shoe Dry, 74, of Concord, NC passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at her home in Concord.

Sylvia was born February 6, 1948 in Concord, NC to the late Martin Luther Shoe and the late Lucy Anner Shoe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Eugene "Gene" Dry; and a brother, Jimmy Shue.

Survivors include daughter, Sandy Michele Dulin and husband Danny Wayne of Concord, NC; son, Randy Dry and Peggy Deese of Concord, NC; granddaughter, Candace Meggs and husband Brent; granddaughter, Emily Dry; great granddaughters, June "Junebug" and Lily Gene Meggs; brother, Lester Shoe; sisters, Kathy Smith and Denise Dabbs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia "Maw Maw Nunny" was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She liked sitting out on the front porch visiting with her neighbors and going out with her sisters.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Drive, Concord, NC 28025. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Pastor Steve Dulin.  Burial will take place at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
