Sylvia Efird

Sylvia (Blakely) Efird, age 58, of Norwood, N.C., died Friday, June 12, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, N.C. Efird was a homemaker and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. The family will be meeting at the home of Faye Blakely, 1325 Sunset Ave, Albemarle, NC 28001.. . She was the daughter of the late William Blakely and the late Martha (Blake) Blakely. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wade Rosco Efird. She is survived by her Sister-Faye Elizabeth Blakely of Albemarle, N.C. Sister-Venenah Sue Blakely of Albemarle, N.C. Brother-William Boyd Blakely of Albemarle, N.C. Niece-Shannon Blakely Neese and husband James III of Mooresville, N.C. Great Nephews-James Everette Neese, IV and William Andrew Neese Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C. Graveside funeral service will be at Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2009 , Rev. David Hatley officiating.
